On Sundays Medellin closes off half of a divided highway just for bicycles, opening up an interesting niche for streetside repair businesses and limeade vendors. Most people seem to be out just to enjoy Medellin’s eternally fantastic weather, but some Colombians don helmets, sunglasses and spandex and get just as insane about it as Americans. I borrowed a bike from someone and joined them.
