I like what you said about travel writing/blogging. Since I last did any at all (when I was 18 or so), I’ve been disillusioned with the general craft for that very reason… just seems like another brand of self indulgent yuppie-centrism. All these magical people have changed my perspective yay yay yay! Of course traveling changes your perspective… but are you really seeing if you are the only subject of your piece?
